Landscape painter in oil & watercolour, poster designer, author, illustrator. Born Milford, Hants 30/7/1911. Studied at Eastbourne School of Art. Was founder president of the Guild of Aviation Artists. Author of How to draw Cars and How to draw Aircraft. Official artist to the R.A.F. 1944-46. Lived in Alfriston, Sussex. Died 21/4/1998.
